Dr. Steve Giannoutsos, or “Dr. G.” as he is commonly called, was born in Astoria, Queens, just outside of New York City. He graduated from St. John’s University in Jamaica, Queens, with high honors & a BS in Biology.

He completed his dental training at NYU, where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He was also accepted into NYU’s highly competitive orthodontic residency program directly out of dental school. During his residency, he served as president and chief resident of his orthodontic class. During that time, he also discovered a passion for treating children and adults with facial deformities. Coinciding his passion, his research thesis to attain specialty certification involved children with cleft deformities. Upon graduation, he was inducted into OKU, the National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. G. lives locally with his wife Michaele and his three daughters Yana, Maria and Sofia.


Dr. Mohammed Mahdi was born to a mother and father who are physicians, Dr. Mahdi always had in an interest in biological sciences. His journey in the United States started in 2010 after earning his dental degree in the United Kingdom. Dr.Mahdi started his Orthodontic Training in New York University College of Dentistry, and in 2015 he also earned a Masters of Science Degree in Biomedical and Bio-material science.

During his period of study in NYU, Dr. Mahdi met Dr. Steve and became good friends since then . In 2017, Dr. Mahdi earned his DMD from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and right after graduating he moved to Connecticut and started working with his good friend and colleague Dr. Steve, putting their efforts and minds together to provide best orthodontic and dental care possible to our patients . Dr. Mahdi is a husband and a father, he loves scuba diving and playing tennis in his free time.


Dr. Boryana Dimitrova, a native of Bulgaria, has both her an undergraduate and graduate degrees in Economics. She worked in economic consulting for a couple of years before deciding to switch careers and fulfill her dream of working with people and having a meaningful impact on their lives. Dr. Dimitrova received her D.M.D. degree (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she then completed an orthodontics residency program.

Dr. Dimitrova is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and has published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals in the fields of health economics and public health. In her free time, Dr. Dimitrova enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and two children.
